Lee takes on the role following a decade-long experience in the company, bringing cross-market learnings from past roles based in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Melbourne.
SEEK has announced the appointment of Esther Lee as Managing Director, Jobstreet in Singapore, strengthening its leadership team as the company focuses on strategic growth in the market. The update was shared on 4 December 2025.
Lee joins the Singapore leadership team from her position as SEEK’s Head of APAC Commercial Growth, where she pioneered SmartHire, the company’s pay-per-hire solution introduced across Singapore, Hong Kong and Malaysia. In her new role, she will oversee Jobstreet’s next phase of growth by leveraging the platform’s AI technology, together with deep local market insights and personalised service to take the company further.
Chook Yuh Yng, Director of Asia Sales and APAC Service at SEEK, said Lee brings a deep understanding of the region’s job markets and business culture, shaped over her decade-long tenure with the company.
Lee's career with SEEK began in 2014. Since then, she has lived and worked in Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Jakarta, and Melbourne. Her cross-market experience is said to have played a key role in her leadership responsibilities, which include managing transformation strategies, driving operational excellence across Asia and incubating revenue streams as Head of Growth for the employer side of SEEK’s marketplace. She also previously served as Acting Managing Director of Jobstreet in Indonesia, where she delivered strong business improvements in a dynamic and fast-growing market.
