In her new role, Reema will oversee the full People function, bringing together talent acquisition, talent experience, and HR.
Reema Bhullar (pictured above) has been promoted to Head of People at Maker Lab, taking responsibility for the company’s global people strategy and the talent, capability and culture that power its embedded model.
Since joining the business in 2021 as a Talent Acquisition Partner, she has been credited with helping build and evolve the talent infrastructure needed to support high-growth teams across markets.
Over the past five years, Reema has progressed through roles including Talent Acquisition Lead and most recently Talent Experience Director, expanding her remit from regional recruitment delivery to the broader transformation of the Talent Experience function. Her work has spanned talent acquisition, onboarding, internal mobility, workforce planning, and employee engagement.
In her new role, Reema will oversee the full People function, bringing together talent acquisition, talent experience, and HR. She will lead the continued development of a people-led operating model that enables Maker Lab’s teams to work closely with clients, adapt to changing capability needs, and deliver outstanding work at scale.
Reema brings more than a decade of experience in recruitment, digital talent, and people strategy. Before Maker Lab, she worked across specialist recruitment businesses including The Edge Partnership, Salt, and Morgan McKinley, placing digital, marketing, data, and technology talent across Asia.
Her promotion sits alongside other recent leadership appointments as Maker Lab prepares for its next phase of growth. John Marsden has stepped into the role of Head of Growth, leading the global commercial strategy and helping more brands rethink how modern marketing teams are built.
At the same time, Intan Mokhnar was also recently appointed as CEO, as the global marketing consultancy seeks to continue building "the leadership, capability, and operating model for the next generation of marketing organisations."
