Up the ranks: Mai Linh Julia Schielke joins Mox Bank as Chief People Officer

In this role, she is eager to develop strategies to attract new talent, keep Moxsters (employees) engaged and retained, and build a team focused on the customer and innovation.

Mox Bank, a virtual bank backed by Standard Chartered, in partnership with HKT, PCCW and Trip.com, has appointed Mai Linh Julia Schielke as its new Chief People Officer, effective 24 August 2022.

In this role, she is responsible for the people agenda, and as leader of the people team, she is eager to develop strategies to attract new talent, keep Moxsters (its employees) engaged and retained, and build a team focused on the customer and innovation.

Based in Hong Kong, Julia brings plenty of experience to bank on for this role. Most recently, she was Group Head of Human Resources at EQONEX Group, where she has been credited with creating and strengthening the company's diverse culture. She also had a hand in shaping talent strategies in leadership positions at Tink Labs and Hyphen Group.

In a statement on LinkedIn, the company shared: "Her appointment comes at a critical juncture as Mox turns a new chapter in our growth journey. Julia’s people and culture development efforts will be essential as we continue to reimagine banking for each of our customers and raise the bar in customer experience."
