Kantar has recently appointed Anitha Ramakrishnan as regional HR director for the Insights Division, comprising of Kantar Millward Brown and Kantar TNS. Her role covers North Asia, Southeast Asia and Pacific - including Indonesia, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, and Myanmar.
Anitha, who has a strong background in talent and organisational development, joins from Hewlett Packard Enterprise where she led global talent, leadership development and performance management for the software business.
In her new role, Anitha will lead the HR team across the region, evolving the business structures to enable closer collaboration between brands. She is tasked with developing the capabilities of employees so that they are well placed to advise clients on their business challenges in a rapidly changing industry. She will also be reporting to Adrian Gonzalez, CEO for Kantar’s insights division.
On that note, Gonzalez said: “To help our clients grow and succeed in the increasingly dynamic markets that they operate in it is vital that we continue to evolve our capabilities and ways of working at Kantar. Anitha’s vast experience in talent development and organizational culture and design will ensure we have the right expertise in place to support our clients where they need us.”
Anitha added: “I’m excited to be joining the business at such a pivotal time. Our people have a great variety of strengths to offer clients. I’m looking forward to supporting the development of our capabilities and enabling our people to deliver valuable, actionable insight to the brands we work with.”
Anitha will be based out of the regional headquarters in Singapore. She steps into the shoes of Narelle Burke, who has been promoted to global head of learning and leadership for Kantar and will continue being based in Singapore.
