Towers Watson announces two new senior appointments

Professional services company Towers Watson has appointed Keith Brooks as Asia Pacific regional director, insurance management consultancy (IMC). In this role, Keith will lead its insurance management consultancy practice across the region and will be based in Hong Kong.

Keith has 28 years of experience in the insurance sector and has worked in Asia since 1998. His most recent senior management position was chief executive officer of a multinational insurance company’s Thai operations.

“This is an exciting opportunity for the development of the insurance management consultancy practice to build on the momentum created over the last two years, which has included ground-breaking assignments in the areas of strategic development, distribution partnerships and operational effectiveness," said Michael Freeman, managing director, risk consulting & software, Asia Pacific, at Towers Watson.

Additionally, Wesley Cui (pictured) has been appointed director, insurance management consultancy for China. Wesley joined Towers Watson China in 2011 and has successfully broadened the range of consulting services to insurers in China in the areas of strategic and operational reviews.

“China insurers are facing a daunting set of challenges alongside tremendous growth opportunities," Adrian Liu, general manager, insurance consulting, China at Towers Watson. "Wesley, with his extensive experience of giving strategic advice, solid actuarial expertise and sharp business acumen, is well placed in providing practical solutions to our clients.”
