The biggest winners at Asia Recruitment Awards Hong Kong

Last night, the most prestigious recruitment firms and consultants in Hong Kong were heralded for their achievements in the Asia Recruitment Awards 2015.

Hosted by Human Resources, the inaugural event's grand winners were BASF and PageGroup.

The two companies took home the top honours as the Best Career Website – In-House and Recruitment Agency of the Year, respectively.

In front of a record-breaking audience of over 200 top talent acquisition specialists at Hotel ICON, BASF also won the gold award for Best Employer Brand Development, Best Use of Recruitment Technology, and Best Career Website – In-House.

Among the recruitment agencies, PageGroup emerged victorious, bagging the gold trophy for Best Career Website – Recruitment Agency and Recruitment Agency of the Year, alongside their Grand Winner trophy.

One of the biggest names last night was also Galaxy Entertainment Group. The company took home a total of four trophies – silver for Best Recruitment Innovation – In-House and In-House Recruitment Team of the Year, together with bronzes in the Best Employer Brand Development and Best On-Boarding Experience categories.

The much coveted category of Best New Recruitment Agency saw a close race to the finish line - with Up Recruitment emerging tops in the category.

Amongst the Best Graduate Recruitment Programmes, SAP Greater China came first, proving once and for all its expertise in dealing with the war for the new generation’s brightest talent.

SAP Hong Kong also took home silver for Best Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, while SAP Greater China bagged the silver for Best Employer Brand Development.

The Diversity & Inclusion category, however, was topped by Kering Asia Pacific, with Swiss Re in bronze position.

In light of their initiatives to bolster their forces with the latest in digital recruitment, Deutsche Bank won in style, earning the gold for Best Use of Digital Media, along with another gold for Best Recruitment Advertising Strategy.

These awards were judged by senior HR industry experts across the region, who carefully evaluated and compared entries using their wealth of knowledge and expertise in the field of recruitment.

For the In-House Recruitment Team of the Year category, judges awarded ANZ the gold tropy for bank's commendable efforts towards a customer-driven experience, while Galaxy Entertainment Group managed a close silver.

ANZ also struck gold for Best Recruitment Evaluation Technique.

Other big names of the night included Niccolo Chengdu with three trophies – gold for Best Candidate Experience – In-House and Best Recruitment Innovation – In-House, as well as a silver for Best On-Boarding Experience.

The night ended with a bang, with Lilly Di Cao from RMG Selection being titled the Recruitment Consultant of the Year, while Louisa Wong from Bó Lè Associates followed close with a silver in hand.
