Jane Morgan, Managing Director, Golin Hong Kong said: “The last two years have been tough, both professionally and personally for everyone, whether we are conscious of it or not."

PR firm Golin announced this week the appointment of Elizabeth Jung as an onsite counsellor for Golin Hong Kong to address the health and wellness needs of its employees.

Elizabeth Jung is the founder of Fortitude Partners and is formerly a professional services leader. She has years of experience in counselling and specialises in the use of positive psychology and resilience training. Employees can book a session directly with Jung, and their conversations will be completely confidential.

“I am delighted to be working with such a progressive agency as Golin. To acknowledge and act on a need that is so real in the current environment, particularly in such a fast paced business such as PR, is testament to the value the agency places on their employees,” Jung said.

The announcement follows on from a number of employee initiatives Golin introduced over recent years including a HK$580 monthly health and wellness allowance, unlimited leaves and email shut down during vacations.

Commenting on Jung's appointment, Jane Morgan, Managing Director, Golin Hong Kong said: “The last two years have been tough, both professionally and personally for everyone, whether we are conscious of it or not. We want to make sure that we are listening and responding as needed and this step felt like the right one. It’s early days yet and while we acknowledge we can’t solve every problem, we’re hopeful Elizabeth’s counsel will make a difference to the working lives of our teams.”
