Photos and winners: HR Excellence Awards 2019, Malaysia

Celebration, camaraderie and cheer marked the seventh edition of the annual HR Excellence Awards 2019, held in Malaysia.

The most exciting night of the year for HR leaders and their teams was held at Sofitel Damansara, Kuala Lumpur, on 17 October 2019, where team Maybank bagged the HR Excellence Grand Winner 2019 after securing gold wins for Corporate Wellness, Employer of the Year, and Learning & Development.

The coveted HR Leader of the Year gold was won by Hong Leong Bank's Fiona Fong, while American Express Malaysia's Renuga Govindan was the recipient of the HR Manager of the Year prize.

All finalists and winners performed exceedingly well in the eyes of the jury, which comprises notable HR leaders from across the nation.

The gala night welcomed distinguished guests from the HR fraternity for an evening of celebration, organised by Human Resources Online’s Low Yee Ching.
