Effective 12am (midnight) on 1 November 2023 (Wednesday), all travellers entering or departing Mainland China are no longer required to complete the Mainland China health declaration form, as announced by China Customs.

This means all travel rules regarding COVID-19 have now been lifted.

However, those who have symptoms of infectious diseases, such as fever, cough, breathing difficulty, vomiting, diarrhea, rash, unknown subcutaneous bleeding; or have been diagnosed with infectious diseases, must proactively report to the customs and go through temperature testing, epidemiological investigations, medical examinations, and sampling inspections under the instructions of the customs.

Those who conceal or evade quarantine will bear corresponding legal liability; those who cause the spread of infectious diseases or pose a serious risk of spread will bear corresponding criminal liability, as shared by the authorities.
