New operating hours for Malaysia's passport issuing offices from March 2024

Only 20 branches, including five in Johor and six in Selangor, will operate on Saturdays.

The Immigration Department of Malaysia has updated the operating hours for its passport issuing offices — brances and urban transformation centres.

Effective 1 March 2024, these are the new operating hours.

Branch operating hours

All states except Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan

  • Monday to Friday: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm

Johor, Kedah, Terengganu, and Kelantan

  • Sunday to Wednesday: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm
  • Thursday: 8.00 am - 3.30 pm

Break time 1.00 - 2.00 pm

Operating hours on Saturdays, for the following branches: 8.00 am - 12.30 pm

  1. Menara Ikhlas, Putrajaya
  2. Batu Pahat, Johor
  3. Kluang, Johor
  4. Muar, Johor
  5. Kulai, Johor
  6. Setia Tropika, Johor
  7. Wangsa Maju, Kuala Lumpur
  8. Jalan Duta, Kuala Lumpur
  9. Kulim, Kedah
  10. Ayer Keroh, Malacca
  11. Kuala Kubu Bharu, Selangor
  12. Kajang, Selangor
  13. Kelana Jaya, Selangor
  14. Kuala Selangor, Selangor
  15. Puchong, Selangor
  16. Shah Alam, Selangor
  17. Seberang Jaya, Penang
  18. Taiping, Perak
  19. Teluk Intan, Perak
  20. Lumut, Perak

Urban transformation centres

All states except Perlis, Pahang, Kedah, and Terengganu

  • Working days: 8.00 am - 7.00 pm
  • Weekdays: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm

Perlis, Pahang, Kedah, and Terengganu

  • Every day: 8.00 am - 5.00 pm
