MYXpats Centres in Surian Tower and Penang to close for Hari Raya Aidilfitri on 23 March 2026

Key deadlines have been set for pass processing ahead of the closure.

In conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, the MYXpats Centres in Surian Tower and Penang will be closed on Monday, 23 March 2026. Operations will resume on Tuesday, 24 March 2026.

During this period, all counter services, telephone lines, and email support will be unavailable.

To support smoother processing ahead of the closure, the Expatriate Services Division (ESD) has shared several cut-off dates and timings to note:

Passport submission and collection

  • Passport submission: Tuesday, 17 March 2026 (before 4pm)
  • Passport collection: Thursday, 19 March 2026 (before 12pm)
  • Passports not collected by the deadline will only be available once operations resume on Tuesday, 24 March.

ePASS endorsement payment

  • Payments made on or before 17 March 2026 (4pm): Processed before the closure.
  • Payments made after 19 March 2026 (12pm): Processed from 24 March onwards.

Online systems will remain accessible throughout the closure, so companies and individuals will be able to continue submitting applications via the ESD and RP-T platforms. However, applications submitted after 19 March 2026 (4pm) will only be processed once operations resume on 24 March.

The ESD urged all enquiries related to Employment Passes, Professional Visit Passes, and related passes to be directed to helpdesk@myxpats.com.my, while Residence Pass-Talent (RP-T) queries can be sent to rptcare@myxpats.com.my.

The Division also noted that the operating schedule of the MYXpats Centre is subject to Malaysia’s official Hari Raya Aidilfitri public holiday announcement, and any changes will be communicated accordingly.

As public holidays approach, employers and employees alike may wish to plan ahead to avoid delays.
