Mark Zuckerberg's 2015 New Year's resolution is...

When most of us make a New Year's resolution, we don't tend to have the whole world watching (so when we fail, as many people do by Valentine's Day, it's not such a big deal).

But Mark Zuckerberg has no such respite, instead announcing every New Year's resolution to his millions of Facebook followers.

Every year the Facebook founder's resolutions have ranged from meeting someone new every day, to not eating meat and learning Mandarin, but this year, Zuck has decided to read.

Yep, read. And he wants to read alongside the world.

He and his wife Priscilla have created what is essentially a global book club, A Year of Books, to help him identify and choose a new book to read every fortnight in 2015.

"We will read a new book every two weeks and discuss it here. Our books will emphasize learning about new cultures, beliefs, histories and technologies. Suggestions for new books to read are always welcome," he writes on the page.

According to USA Today, the first book Zuckerberg is reading by Moisés Naím is now out of stock on Amazon.com. Associated Press reported it had a sales ranking of 138.

Happy reading!
