IKEA's new Penang store to fill over 200 jobs

To prepare for the opening of IKEA Batu Kawan, Penang, the Swedish home furnishings retailer will hold a recruitment drive on 27 to 29 July at 9am daily at The Light Hotel in Seberang Jaya, Penang.

According to a media release, which came with the creative job ad below, the walk-in interview fair will recruit for the over 200 job opportunities the new store will provide. Vacancies include full-time and part-time roles in sales, customer relations, food and beverage, logistics, warehouse and more.

Following the recruitment drive, successful candidates will undergo training ahead of the opening of IKEA Batu Kawan, scheduled for 28 March 2019.
