HR job moves this week from Honeywell, L'Oréal, Nando's Malaysia, and many more

Here are the major promotions and job moves in the world of HR for this week.

HR practitioner appointments

Kumpulan Wang Persaraan welcomes new VP Nurwahida Othman was appointed assistant vice president, employee and industrial relations at the company in November. She came over from Al Rajhi Bank Malaysia where she had served as assistant vice president, HR business partner for more than two years. She will continue to be based in Malaysia.

Nando's Malaysia welcomes HR business partner manager David Jansen was appointed the role in November. Jansen brings with him more than 14 years of HR experience in various roles and industry. His previous position was  HR project manager at PwC. Jansen is based in Malaysia.

Repsol promotes mobility advisor Marilyn Lim was promoted to regional global mobility advisor in November. Lim had been with the company since 2013 and was promoted from the position as global mobility support services. She is based in Malaysia.

L'Oréal strengthens talent acquisition team Sarina Sariff joined the company as talent acquisition manager in November. Sariff came over from Lazada Group where she served as recruitment manager. She is based in Malaysia.

Honeywell enhances hiring team Renuka Ramalingam joined Honeywell as talent advisor in November. She is a talent sourcing specialist with more than four years of working experience in recruiting oil and gas, IT, finance, HR, FMCG, construction professionals. Prior to Honeywell, Ramalingam was a talent sourcing specialist at WorleyParsons. She is based in Malaysia.

L'Oréal welcomes new HR head. After serving for 10 years in the HR department of Diageo, Atul Gaur made the move to L'Oréal. He was appointed HR director of the company with effect starting in November. Gaur brings with him more than 12 years of expereince in HR, his last position was HR director for global travel retail business and Middle East business at Diageo. Gaur is based in Singapore.

Infineon Technologies promotes head of global talent network Alexander Trost was promoted in October to head of global talent network and VP HR APAC. Trost had been with Infineon Technologies since 2005 and was promoted from the position of of vice president human resources. He is based in Singapore.

DHL promotes senior HR director Teofilus Ponniah was promoted to senior HR director - Singapore and Malaysia and regional head - transformation (Space to Lead) at DHL in November. Ponniah joined DHL in 2015 and was promoted from HR director. He is based in Singapore.

X Social Group promotes HR director Jane Cheung moved up from HR consultant to HR director in October. In the role, Cheung looks to engage with senior business leaders to work on HR Transformation, change management, and organisational design. She has been in the HR industry since 2005 and is based in Hong Kong.

Zouk Consulting welcomes senior brand training manager Mohamed Sofian was appointed the position in November. Sofian previous position was senior associate, advisory services at Ernst & Young Advisory. He is based in Singapore.

MDManage & VCarve hires new HR manager Garima Pandey was hired by the company as a HR manager in November. Pandey brings with her 12 years of experience in devising and effectuating human resource management. Her previous post was HR manager at Unicom Infotel. She is based in India.

HR solutions provider appointments

Appointments at CXA In a move from Goodpack where she was senior manager, global HR, Elaine Tay is now head of learning and talent development, for CXA Group's Academy. She is based in Singapore, and has prior experience working with firms such as Roche and Prudential Assurance.

In another appointment, previously manager at Mercer, and based in Singapore, Heena Bose has been selected to lead operations re-engineering for the online health and wellness marketplace. Prior to working with Mercer, Bose has previously worked with organisations such as Aon Hewitt and Genpact.

Mirza Abdullah joins transcosmos inc. Abdullah was appointed head of business development of the company in November. Abdullah brings with him more than 16 years of experience in managing global teams, giving him the expertise to develop training programs through understanding people and business operations. ​He is based in Malaysia.

Nastrac Singapore promotes recruitment manager Esha Bhuttan has been promoted to recruitment manager- leadership hiring and will take up her new role in December 2016. She joined Nastrac Singapore in August 2015. Prior to this, Bhuttan was a human resource and training manager at BUPA health insurance company in India. She brings with her more than eight years of experience in HR and training and will continue to be based in Singapore.

TalentGrid Ventures has new managing consultant Mark Foo was appointed the role in November. He looks to focus on the executive search for healthcare, healthcare IT and advanced technology sectors. Foo's previous appointment was managing consultant at Global Search Partners, he relocated from Hong Kong to Singapore for the new role.

AIA strengthens hiring team Nur Shuhana joined AIA as talent acquisition manager in October. Shuhana previous appointment was workforce planning and recruitment manager at Cement Industries of Malaysia Berhad. She is based in Malaysia.

Mercer promotes sales leader Peter Li was appointed North China sales leader at Mercer in November. Li had been in the company since 2015 and was promoted from the position of senior business development director. He is based in Beijing.

WeWork enhances recruiting team Alex Wang joined WeWork in November as APAC recruiter. In the role, Wang looks to work with hiring managers from APAC, China, Korean, Hong Kong and Australia to search and recruit the right talent. Wang's previous appointment was talent acquisition manager, China at McCann Worldgroup. He is based in Shanghai.

Center for Creative Leadership has new MD Chaitali Mukherjee was appointed in November, managing director - India and South Asia at Center for Creative Leadership. Mukherjee is a talent management and organisational effectiveness leader with extensive international business and talent management consulting experience. Most recently, she was a client partner with Korn/Ferry Hay Group, as part of their leadership and talent (LTC) practice in India. She will continue to be based in India.

Gerson Lehrman Group hires new analyst After a couple of internships with UNHCR in Malaysia and AmCham Singapore, Eric Cheng joined Gerson Lehrman Group in November. Cheng graduated from Singapore Management University in 2016 with a bachelor of science in economics and is based in Singapore.
