Eva Liu takes up new role at Willis Towers Watson as head of health & benefits 

Willis Towers Watson announced on 31 October 2019 the appointment of Eva Liu as head of health & benefits. In her new role, she will set the direction, business strategy and talent management to drive growth for the H&B business and ensure a high level of client satisfaction and retention.

Based in Hong Kong, she will report to Royston Tan, head of health & benefits, North Asia (excluding China).

Liu started working at Willis Towers Watson as head of client servicing and delivery in 2018. Prior to WTW, she had held business development, account management and consulting positions locally and regionally, including spending five years at Mercer.

With 18 years of experience in client management, Eva moved from IT to HR consultancy industry in 2008 and joined the employee benefits business seven years ago.

Commenting on the appointment, Royston Tan, WTW's head of health & benefits, said: “With her varied background and deep experience, Eva is very well qualified to take on this important leadership role for our business in Hong Kong. In particular, she had successfully led WTW H&B’s client management and operations teams in delivering its full suite of services and solutions, while also ensuring a high client satisfaction level.

"I am confident that Eva will continue to help our clients achieve overall programme efficiency, affordability and competitiveness to develop and sustain a healthy and high-performing workforce in their organisations.”

Randstad promotes Rick Chung to director – banking & financial services, HR & business support Effective October 2019, Rick Chung is director – banking & financial services, human resources & business support. His specialised areas include recruitment of private banking relationship managers, investment consultant, product development and assistant relationship manager. Chung has worked at Randstad for more than six years. Prior to his promotion, he was the associate director – banking & financial services, human resources & business support.

Edith Fung joins P&T Architects and Engineers as assistant HR officer In October, P&T Architects and Engineer appointed Edith Fung as assistant human officer. Prior to this role, she worked at Chandler Macleod as an associate consultant in sales & marketing and prior to this was at Links International as HR outsourcing and administrator.
