Christopher Lim Say Tiong takes up new role at DKSH Thailand Market expansion services provider DKSH Thailand has promoted Christopher Lim Say Tiong to the role of Director, Global People & Organisation Partnering, Consumer Goods, currently based in Thailand. This current role supports the Consumer Goods leaders in the region of Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, Myanmar, Hongkong, Taiwan, China, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and Indonesia.

Speaking to Human Resources on the priority for this role, he said: "As an integral member of the Consumer Goods leadership team, my new role is to be the primary people & organisation (P&O) business partner to the Head, Business Consumer Goods.

"My priority is to work closely with business leaders in the region to drive strategic P&O initiatives on all talent-related matters, including leadership development, to meet the function's business objectives." [Read more]

Nor Izzuddin Shah Mohamed Nor joins iMoney Group in people & culture role Joining iMoney Group, the comparison business for credit cards, loans, broadband and insurance, as Head of People & Culture is Nor Izzuddin Shah Mohamed Nor. In conversation with Human Resources, he highlighted his immediate priority is to ensure that the HR fundamentals are compliant in all the markets where the company is operating, which will ensure the the business run without any speed bumps.

He added: "Also, I need to make sure that all roles are filled within three months in all our markets to support the growth of our business."

Based in Malaysia, Nor Izzuddin Shah is an experienced HR Director with regional exposure, handling all aspects of HR management. He has strengths in employer branding and conflict management, among other skillsets, as well as in-depth experience in creating policies and SOPs for startups. [Read more]

CBRE engages Chandralakshmi Thiruchelvam as APAC Head of Performance & Rewards Real estate firm CBRE has appointed Chandralakshmi Thiruchelvam as Head of Performance & Rewards, Global Workplace Solution, Asia Pacific. In this role, she is already working on rolling out a company-wide incentive plan for the managers, which is intended to drive up performance, as told to Human Resources.

She adds: "Another piece is implementing a company-wide grade structure to suit our recently restructured organisation. Concurrently, I am working and engaging with the business to establish the right innovative hygiene factors that will attract and retain key talent."

While continuing to be based in Malaysia, she moves over from Heineken Malaysia, where she was Head of Rewards & HR Services. [Read more]

Martin Cen Xin is promoted to VP HR (C&B) at Shangri-La Hospitality major, Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts has promoted Martin Cen Xin to the role of VP, Human Resources (Compensation & Benefits), up from his previous role as Director, Human Resources (Compensation & Benefits). He has been with the company since April 2018, and continues to be based in Singapore.

Alcon calls on Atish Sharma to take on new role Medical devices firm Alcon has elevated Atish Sharma to the role of Regional Director, HRBP & Strategic HR Projects, Asia Pacific. In this role, he heads HR for Asia Pacific region business franchises (surgical and vision care) and corporate functions. He also leads strategic HR projects related to organisation design, change management, culture, and employer branding across Asia Pacific. He is based in Singapore.

He has been with the organisation since 2011, when he joined as Assistant Manager - Talent Management & HRBP in Bengaluru.
