HR Excellence Awards: Asia’s best L&D accomplishments wanted

Embedding professional growth in strategic workforce planning requires vision, long-term analysis, and reliable systems. Those who have shown incredible dedication in developing top talent and leaders will be recognised at the HR Excellence Awards, Asia's only regional awards recognising and celebrating excellence in outstanding human capital strategy. The winners of the Excellence in Leadership Development award and the Excellence in Learning & Development award will be unveiled in Kuala Lumpur on 4 October and in Singapore on 12 October.

Aditi Sharma Kalra, regional editor of Human Resources magazine, said that the Excellence in Leadership Development award is for L&D programmes that go beyond traditional elements while the Excellence in Learning & Development will shortlist efforts that truly amplified the organisation’s bottom line. “The HR teams that will bag these accolades are those that prioritise the welfare and future of their employees, positioning them as the top companies to work for in the region.”

Last year in Singapore, BNP Paribas was declared the gold prize winner of the Excellence in Learning & Development award at the HR Excellence Awards in Singapore. ANZ Banking Group came second with the silver award while Nanyang Technological University landed on the third spot with the bronze award. For the Excellence in Leadership Development award, telecommunications firm Singtel received the gold award. BASF and BNP Paribas shared the silver prize while Amcor grabbed the bronze prize.
