Foodpanda organises recruitment event amid the pandemic

Online food delivery service Foodpanda Hong Kong is hosting a recruitment event next week. The numerous positions available span across various business functions, including customer service, sales, account management, operations, marketing, data & insights, finance and legal & compliance.

With the ongoing pandemic and increasing unemployment rate in the city, foodpanda Hong Kong hopes to lend a helping hand and support the wider job market. This event also closely follows the major job cuts after the closure of Cathay Dragon last month.

“Especially since the outbreak of COVID-19, we have been working extra hard to support the restaurant and retail industries, with hopes to drive sales and sustain business across these hard-hit sectors,” says Queenie Kwong, head of people operations at Foodpanda Hong Kong.

“We are aware of the unique position we are in to be able to make a positive impact and we want to recruit more wonderful talent to bolster our service to all our stakeholders,” she added.
