Hong Kong, the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and the UK are top destinations for prospective students who wish to study in the most international environments in the world.

Hong Kong is home to the world’s most international university for the sixth year in a row, according to the latest Times Higher Education World University Rankings 2024.

The crown, however, changed hands this year as City University of Hong Kong, which ranked fourth last year, surpassed last year’s winner University of Hong Kong to claim the top spot in the 2024 rankings.

Other Hong Kong universities that made it to the top 20 included The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (9th), Hong Kong Polytechnic University (10th), and Chinese University of Hong Kong (13th), meaning the city has the most universities in the top 10, with four features.

Taking up the second spot was Abu Dhabi University in the United Arab Emirates, followed by three universities in the UK and two in Switzerland.
