Catering to individual needs will be what shapes C&B in the future

閱讀中文版本

HR professionals everywhere are rethinking their strategies when it comes to retaining and attracting top talent. And this means rethinking traditional compensation and benefits (C&B) models if your company is to thrive in the future.

"Cash is no longer king," said Eliza Ng, director of Human Resources, Fuji Xerox (Hong Kong) in her opening keynote address at Human Resources' Employee Benefits Asia 2018 conference. Attended by over 200 HR and C&B specialists. The trend towards more personalised C&B packages when attracting talent was running throughout the event.

In fact, many employers have it wrong if they think a higher salary is what will keep their best talent in the next five years. Increasingly a better work-life balance and finding personal fulfilment is what employees value most when choosing a job or deciding to leave.

Speaking exclusively to Human Resources, Ng tells us what the future of C&B will look like, how to attract and keep the ever job-hopping Millenial and pet leave.
