A Russian air hostess who allegedly posted a photo of her giving passengers the finger online has been sacked after the image went viral.
Tatiana Kozlenko, who worked for Aeroflot, uploaded the photo to Vkontakte – a Russian social media site similar to Facebook – which was then quickly shared on other websites such as Twitter and retweeted hundreds of times,news.com.au reported.
Aeroflot announced Kozlenko’s sacking on Twitter, saying: "Posting this photo shows Tatiana’s attitude towards passengers and her duties. She acknowledged her fault when she spoke to her managers."
However, Kozlenko has responded saying it is not her arm in the photo and she merely tagged herself in the image.
"I don't consider myself guilty! The photo was added to my page, I only tagged myself on it!!!” she wrote on her Vkontakte page.
"The hand isn't mine, the plane is not my company's!!! I don't understand what they spoil my life for!!! I'm asking you for help and support!!!"
