The countdown to the inaugural Human Resources Excellence Awards on 6 June at Hilton Kuala Lumpur has begun, with the gala night looking set to be the party of the year.

The awards, which was judged entirely by the client community, has not only received overwhelming support from practicing HR professionals, but Malaysia’s top solution providers, services companies and brands have also joined as sponsors and partners.

The show has received participation from sponsors Adecco, GlobalNxt University, PEOPLElogy Group and Verity Intelligence, along with partners Active Network, Carlsberg, Forever Young, Freeflow Productions and Nerofico.

The night itself will see trophies awarded to organisations which have achieved excellence in 15 functional categories covering all spectrums of the industry. It will be a night of celebration, sharing, learning and networking, and should not to be missed by HR practitioners and partners who are committed towards improving HR standards in Malaysia.

“The HR Awards serves as a recognition and motivation to high-performing HR professionals that contribute to the success of their organisations,” Allen Lee, group founder and CEO of PEOPLElogy Group, said. “As an organisation which has always been assisting HR professionals to deliver results, we are proud to support the Human Resources Excellence Awards, as this is a platform which will encourage HR practitioners to strive to achieve higher standards.”

Mark Leow, managing director of Verity Intelligence, agreed, adding, “We believe HR is the driving force of every organisation.  HR practitioners who strive in today’s employment landscape should be commended for their vision and innovation.”

Prof. Dr. Wing Lam, vice chancellor of GlobalNxt University, said: “Having worked with many organisations across APAC on leadership development, we are happy to support the Human Resources Excellence Awards as it recognises excellence in this field.”

Adecco Malaysia, the event’s official goodie bag sponsor, also recognises the value Human Resources Excellence Awards will bring in supporting and acknowledging the best HR players in Malaysia and around the world.

The awards will be attended by some of the biggest employer brands in Malaysia including Nestle Malaysia, AirAsia Asean Inc, The Star Publications, Telekom Malaysia and Media Prima.
