She brings close to 30 years of experience in the full spectrum of HR across global and local organisations.

Starting 22 May 2023, Dr Jaclyn Lee (pictured above) will be joining Certis in the role of Chief Human Resources Officer.

Dr Lee brings with her close to 30 years of experience in the full spectrum of HR across global and local organisations. She joins Certis having closed a 13-year tenure at Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), where she was part of the university's founding team. "Despite the unknowns surrounding my boss, the university's location, and even its name, I eagerly accepted the challenge. Little did I know that this decision would shape one of the most fulfilling and exhilarating chapters of my life," she wrote in an announcement message.

"As I reflect on my time at SUTD and prepare for the next chapter, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to all my colleagues who have shared memorable moments with me, even if their pictures are not featured here. The cherished lunches and meaningful conversations have enriched my experience and made my tenure truly special. Thank you all for your camaraderie and support."

As the HR thought leader moves to the next chapter of the career, Dr Lee is no stranger to integrated security specialist Certis — she led the Group Human Resources team between 2005 and 2009, where she drove the people agenda and HR transformation during the corporatisation of Certis.

In her return in the role of CHRO, Dr Lee will be reporting to Paul Chong, Group CEO, and will be part of the Group’s Executive Leadership Team, as shared with HRO.

Expressing her thoughts in taking up the new role, in rejoining an industry "that has grown exponentially in global and local significance", she wrote: "I am truly grateful for the opportunity to contribute to their impactful work, and I look forward to embarking on this exciting new journey."

Apart from being an expert on HR tech & analytics, Dr Lee has received various accolades such as the Public Administration Medal (Silver), for her contributions to the HR profession and to education. She is also accredited by the Institute of Human Resource Professionals as Master Professional (IHRP-MP).
