Malaysians more likely to shop during office hours

According to iPrice Group's latest whitepaper The State of eCommerce in Southeast Asia 2017, Malaysians are more likely to shop more during weekdays rather than weekends. In fact, Wednesdays are highlighted to be the peak where consumers are shopping the most.

On another note, while the number of orders is highest between 9am and 5pm, Malaysians seem to prefer to shop at 4pm. Globally, there is a dip between 5pm and 7pm, where people typically commute and have dinner, before getting back into online shopping until 11pm.

This report is based on the analysis of the anonymised data of all these companies in the period July 2016 to June 2017, for the following markets - Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines and Vietnam.
