HR job moves: Meet SAP Concur's regional GM, Poonawalla Fincorp's Group CHRO, and more

Among the new appointments, India-based HRMS platform ZingHR has appointed Vijay Raghavan Pisharody as Chief of Culture and Performance.

SAP Concur drives regional operations with Matthew Goss as SVP and GM for APJ & Greater China

Invoice management specialist, SAP Concur, has appointed Matthew Goss (pictured above, extreme left) as Senior Vice President & General Manager for Asia Pacific Japan and Greater China, who will take charge of overall business operations in the region, and growing the customer base and market share. 

On his appointment, Goss said: "As travel gears up again and firms move to optimise and expand their operations, opportunities to improve spend visibility, control and compliance abound. I’m proud to be leading SAP Concur’s efforts to transform businesses in these areas during this exciting time."

Goss has over two decades of experience in the IT industry, of which he has spent 18 years with SAP Concur, his latest appointment being the MD for SAP Concur Australia and New Zealand. In this role, he is credited to have grown revenue significantly, and established the SMB business in ANZ. Prior to that, Goss was instrumental in the establishment of the Concur shared services centre in the Philippines.

Doug Adamic, Chief Revenue Officer at SAP Concur, added: "I have full confidence that under his leadership, our APAC team will continue to be our customers’ trusted partner as they manage employee spend and digitise travel, expense and invoicing to become intelligent enterprises."


Manish Kumar engaged as Group CHRO of Poonawalla Fincorp Limited

Mumbai-based NBFC Poonawalla Fincorp Limited (PFL, and formerly Magma Fincorp Limited), has revamped and strengthened its leadership team with several key hires to lead its transformation exercise.

Most relevant to this piece is the strengthening of the HR function, with the hiring of Manish Kumar as Group CHRO. Manish brings with him vast experience across the BFSI space, having driven aspects of transformation across RBS, IDFC, ICICI Bank, and more.

At PFL, he will prioritise driving people management for the Group. Manish explained: "The focus on building the right culture to create a bedrock for growth is going to be the single most important thing in the transformation exercise."

As part of the change process, the organisation has also appointed the following leaders: 

  • Rajendra Tathare as Chief Credit Officer
  • Rashmi Prasad as Head of Analytics
  • Mitul Budhbhatti for Credit & Risk Monitoring from CARE Ratings
  • Surya V. as Chief Strategy Officer
  • Indiresh Phaltankar as Business Head for the Loan against Property (LAP) business

Amandine Lainé to front recruitment for Gameloft across North and South America

Game developer and publisher Gameloft Montreal has appointed Amandine Lainé (pictured above, centre) as Regional Recruitment Manager for North and South America.

In this role, she will be responsible for optimising the various studios’ hiring processes in the Americas—from analysing their needs to providing support to local teams—by sharing her expertise and her knowledge of best practices with the rest of the continent.

Amandine has over a decade of recruiting experience across Canada and Europe, and will lead recruitment efforts for the Americas region from the Montreal studio. Her appointment comes at a time when the company has made a major shift from only developing mobile games, to also creating titles for PC and consoles. 

Betty Rodrigues, Regional HR Manager at Gameloft, said: "The various studios in the Americas will now benefit from Amandine's in-depth knowledge of the industry and of different markets, enticing new talent to become part of the many fascinating projects we have in the works."


ZingHR appoints Vijay Raghavan Pisharody as Chief of Culture and Performance

India-based HRMS platform ZingHR has appointed Vijay Raghavan Pisharody (pictured above, extreme right) as Chief of Culture and Performance.

In this role, Vijay will be leading the People, Culture and Performance mandate of ZingHR and be focused on:

  • Developing a high-calibre talent pipeline,
  • Implementing strategic leadership and people practices globally,
  • Driving a growth mindset-oriented culture.

On the appointment, Prasad Rajappan, MD &CEO, ZingHR, said: "Vijay joins us during an exciting time, and will further, strengthen our leadership team and fuel our next wave of growth."

Vijay has had stints across several organisations, such as Knolskape, Aditya Birla Group, Tata Group, Oberoi Group, BPL and more across his two-decade career. At Manipal Education and Medical Group, he has been credited with overseeing international projects across the US, Malaysia, and Sri Lanka. 

He commented: "I look forward to leveraging my experience in fulfilling ZingHR’s vision of being a global leader in business 'outcomation'."
