Hong Kong's most attractive employers 2022: Swire Properties, Hong Kong Jockey Club, CLP Power Hong Kong

Out of the 11 industries in the voting, the ‘energy and environmental’ sector was ranked highest, making it the most attractive to work for in Hong Kong.

In the tenth edition of Randstad's Employer Brand Research, conducted based on perceptions of the general audience, Swire Properties, Hong Kong Jockey Club, and CLP Power Hong Kong have emerged as the top three employers most attractive to the public. 

The results are based on the perceptions of 3,027 respondents who are based in Hong Kong SAR and were reached out to in January 2022. 

Here's the full list: 10 most attractive employers in Hong Kong 2022:

1. Swire Properties
2. Hong Kong Jockey Club
3. CLP Power Hong Kong
4. HK Electric
5. Disneyland
6. The Hong Kong and China Gas Company (Towngas)
7. Hong Kong Monetary Authority
8. Goldman Sachs
9. Richemont
10. Morgan Stanley

Benjamin Elms, Regional Director, Randstad Hong Kong, commented on the winners: "The dynamics of the employer-employee relationship have shifted significantly throughout the course of the pandemic. In Hong Kong, job seekers are making deliberate choices regarding the type of company they want to work for as the number of jobs continues to outweigh the number of skilled talent.

"It is therefore critical for companies to continue investing in strengthening their employer brand to attract top talent."

This is the second time Swire Properties’ has been crowned the Most Attractive Employer, the first time being in 2020. 

Anna Thompson, Director, Human Resources, Swire Properties, shared: "Our achievements are driven by our constant pursuit of originality, which inspires the pioneering spirit we’re renowned for. That said, originality wouldn’t be possible without the human element, and it’s our people who’ve always made the difference."

In addition to the overall listing, employer brand awareness and attractiveness scores were also measured at the industry level. Out of the 11 industries in the voting, the ‘energy and environmental’ sector was ranked top with 51 points out of a maximum of 100, making it the most attractive to work for in Hong Kong.
