When it comes to ‘to do’ lists, we could all use a little help.
Phil Drolet, founder of The Feel Good Lifestyle spoke to Fast Company about what employees can do to work smarter and become more focused, allowing them to be more productive and better enjoy their time outside of work.
Drolet said while many people use to do lists, the common mistake people make is assuming all tasks are created equal.
“The single best strategy you can use to increase your productivity is to eat the big ugly frog.”
Um, what?
Apparently, this is all about doing the one task you least want to do, first. Start with your most challenging task of the day (which could be eating a big ugly frog.)
“The thing that makes you uncomfortable, the thing that’s really difficult – you wanna start with that,” he says.
