The US dominates all four top spots globally, while Singapore records four MBA entries and sees average MBA salaries rise to US$104,340.
QS Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) has released its annual QS Global MBA and Business Master’s Rankings 2027, highlighting the world’s leading study destinations for aspiring business leaders.
The latest rankings span 65 countries and territories, analysing more than 420 of the world’s best global MBA programmes, alongside specialised Business Master’s rankings covering Management, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain Management.
Singapore remains home to Asia’s top MBA provider
The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School remains Asia’s best MBA provider, ranking 23rd globally for another year.
Some 16 countries and territories across Asia feature in the 2027 ranking.
Korea University Business School (KUBS) claimed the number one spot in South Korea, ranking 11th in Asia. Meanwhile, the University of Macau is the top provider in Macau SAR, entering the ranking at 29th in Asia.

Across Southeast Asia, 23 entries feature in the global MBA ranking, with four of these from Singapore. QS data also shows that the average salary for MBA students in Singapore has risen to USD$104,340 in 2027, up from USD$99,775 in 2026.
Nunzio Quacquarelli, President, QS said Singapore continues to be home to some of the world’s best MBA providers, with three entries in the global top 50.
"Overall, Southeast Asia is seeing heightened competition in the global business education landscape."
He added that institutions can use the rankings to benchmark themselves against global peers, while students can use the results to see which institutions are excelling in specific areas.
For example, two entries from Singapore are in the top three in Asia for return on investment, while a Malaysian institution is third across the continent for the diversity lens.
US takes top four spots globally
The US continues to dominate the upper echelon of the QS Global MBA Ranking 2027, taking all four top spots.
For the first time, MIT Sloan ranks number one in the world. Harvard Business School retains second place, followed by Stanford Graduate School of Business and Penn (Wharton) in third and fourth respectively. In total, 133 entries from the US appear in the 2027 ranking.

Specialised Business Master’s rankings see more than 1,130 entries
Beyond the MBA table, more than 1,130 entries feature in this year’s specialised Business Master’s Rankings. The rankings cover high-demand areas including Master’s in Management, Finance, Marketing, Business Analytics and Supply Chain Management. Southeast Asia accounts for 15 entries, of which three are from Singapore.

One area where Singapore continues to perform strongly is Business Analytics, with NUS Business School ranking top in Asia for the seventh consecutive year.
Overall, the 2027 rankings point to a competitive landscape for graduate management education, with established US business schools continuing to dominate globally while institutions across Asia and South East Asia strengthen their presence across MBA and specialised business master’s programmes.
