Up the ranks: Niren Srivastava yields progressive talent practices for Motilal Oswal Financial Services as Group CHRO

Leading the HR function in this role, he brings over two decades of HR experience in the financial services industry.

Experienced HR executive Niren Srivastava (pictured above) has joined Mumbai-headquarted Motilal Oswal Financial Services Limited (MOFSL) as Group Chief Human Resources Officer, effective 2 February 2023. 

Leading the HR function in this role, he brings over two decades of HR experience in the financial services industry, spanning insurance, banking, and mutual fund businesses. Prior to joining MOFSL, he was with the Aditya Birla Group, where he spent 14 years across the insurance and fund management businesses. In his most recent assignment, he was heading the HR function for the health insurance business.

Commenting on the appointment, Motilal Oswal, Managing Director & CEO of MOFSL, said: "We are delighted to welcome Niren as Group Chief Human Resources Officer. He brings with him a rich experience of working with one of India’s biggest conglomerates and has an excellent track record in the human resources function of managing both legacy and start-up businesses."

Newly-appointed HR leader, Srivastava, added: "I am excited to join MOFSL with an overall aim to expand the dynamic employee strength and create new industry benchmarks in the service standards."

On LinkedIn, he added: "As the Group CHRO, my role remit is to lead the people agenda across all the businesses of MOFSL and make it as the 'employer of choice across all the lines of businesses we operate in."

Financial services provider MOFSL's offerings include capital markets businesses, asset & wealth management, housing finance, and equity-based treasury investments. The Group employees more than 10,000 employees serving clients in more than 550 cities.
