It’s not surprising for companies to try and bag the best talent nice and early by offering internships – with some promising an office at a Thailand beach, while another going out all in its quest for “fresh meat.”
But which companies do interns fancy most? Glassdoor combed thousands of company reviews shared by interns over the past year to find Facebook taking top spot, as the Highest Rated Company for Internships in 2015.
With a company rating of 4.6 and an interview difficulty rating of 3.1, Facebook took gold for a second consecutive year.
Chevron debuted on the ranking in second place, while Google tumbled to third position after ranking second on last year’s list.
How do these companies offer the best experience for interns?
Reviews by interns spoke highly of Facebook’s culture, which embraces both inclusiveness and creativity. They reported to “feeling like part of the team, working with smart engineers and colleagues on projects that actually get built and impact billions of people.”
