The awards were judged by a panel of 24 top HR leaders from organisations including Astellas Pharma, CBRE, CIMB SINGAPORE, Danaher, DuPont, Evonik SEA, Golden Agri International, HOYA Electronics, KLA Corporation, Paradise Group Holdings, Schneider Electric, and StarHub.

Having assessed 319 entries over a total of 41 categories, the judges have gathered valuable insights into the employee experience scene in Singapore. Anish Lalchandani, Global Head of Talent Management for A.P. Moller Maersk shared that it was “impressive to see HR teams going above and beyond, coming up with creative ideas, and preparing their workforce for the future. They’ve shown how they tackle business challenges by applying innovative practices and relying on data-driven strategies.”

Victoria Herrero, SVP HR Asia and Global Travel Retail, Coty also applauded the “innovative and insightful” quality of all the entries. "The majority of the companies are taking a holistic approach in managing their people agenda, which is commendable."

Additionally, Ray Chua Senior Director, Human Resources (SEA, Hong Kong & Shenzhen), KLA Corporation commended the “marked improvement in the quality of the entries”, saying he was “heartened that companies are taking proactive steps to strive in the new work norms post COVID-19.

"What an exciting time for HR Professionals!"

Last but not least, Zhi Jia Tan, HR Director, South Asia Pacific, Under Armour commented: "Companies are faced with the challenge of managing a diverse workforce consisting of individuals from four to five different generations, making it challenging to implement a uniform approach”. She was enthralled by “many of the entries as they developed intricate HR strategies that encompass long-term strategic planning, effectively catering to present requirements while preparing for future needs.

"These comprehensive plans incorporate multifaceted strategies that not only address talent requirements but also tackle business challenges and objectives."
