Singaporean and Portuguese passport holders can use Macao’s e-Channels effective 19 April 2024

Nationals of the two countries aged 11 or above are required to complete the registration formalities in person at the registration locations with their valid passports.

To enhance the clearance experience of foreign visitors, with effect from 19 April 2024, Singaporean and Portuguese passport holders can use the e-Channels to enter and exit Macao at various checkpoints upon registration, as announced by Macao’s Public Security Police Force.

Individuals with Singaporean or Portuguese nationalities aged 11 or above are required to complete the registration formalities in person at the registration locations with their valid passports.

Checkpoint of Macao Port Zone of Hengqin Port (Arrival Hall – Visa Room)
Immigration Building of the Public Security Police Force at Pac On
9:00 – 17:00 (no lunch break but closed on Sat, Sun and government holidays)

Passports of the registrants must be valid for no less than 90 days. Minors aged 11 to 17 are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and produce the birth certificate of the registrant and the identity document of the parent or guardian for registration. (If accompanied by a guardian, the proof of legal relationship should also be provided.)

All visitors, whether they have completed the registration formalities or not, can still use the traditional counters for immigration clearance.

The Force said it will maintain close communications with the relevant departments, and extend the categories of eligible groups for using e-Channels sustainably to enhance the facilitation for the flow of people.
