“A place to spend a whole day”; “the most exciting place in Hong Kong”; and “so much fun”, gush reviewers of Ocean Park on TripAdvisor. The amusement park has been creating memories, making children giddy with excitement and attracting tourists for more than 40 years. And it is now a leader in helping companies create synergy and bring the best out of their teams.

Responding to greater demand from its clients to engage both staff and their family members, Ocean Park has created specially designed programmes that allow companies to arrange top-notch team building activities in world-class facilities in the morning followed by family activities in the afternoon such as behind-the-scenes tours of up-close encounters with its animal ambassadors.

“We have a devoted team of professional trainers and facilitators with different backgrounds and the training programmes can be conducted in Cantonese, English or Mandarin. We are also very client-oriented, as we always tailor-make programmes according to their training needs,” says Vivian Lee, executive director of business development and education.

With conservation and education at the core of Ocean Park’s values, it includes as many conservation messages as possible in all its programmes and this is just one of the many things that sets it apart, according to Lee.
“Ocean Park’s unique environment, professional team and high-standard venues all contribute to our success as a corporate training service provider,” says Lee. Ocean Park consistently strive to provide professional training programmes and enhance its facilities to accommodate any requests it receives from corporates that goes above and beyond its already exciting training courses,

In 2017, it added a permanent multi-functional venue equipped with a sizeable stage, an LED wall and professional audio-visual systems. It can accommodate more than 900 people and is the perfect venue for corporate clients to host conferences, meetings, ceremonies and different themed promotional events. Its “Lakeside Chill”, is a cosy al fresco dining area with a capacity of 350 people, includes a mini-bar alongside the park’s signature lagoon. Making it the perfect location for cocktail parties and networking events.

And, although already a household name, Ocean Park shows no signs of slowing down. The Hong Kong Ocean Park Marriott Hotel and all-weather Water World are slated to open in mid-2018 and 2019 respectively.

All these new projects are seen as opportunities by the professional training team to expand their corporate program spectrum. Synchronizing with the Park’s spinning gear, the team never stops bringing new experiences to corporate clients.
