Tracking the latest changes within the local HR industry, en world Singapore recently came up with the top five HR positions most likely to be most sought after this year.

Here are the top five jobs in HR this year, according to en world:

1. Regional compensation and benefits heads and managers: Having a huge impact on various HR areas, this job is highly in demand as Singapore grows as an APAC hub. Responsibilities include salary benchmarking to attract top talent and remuneration design to retain employees.

2. Talent acquisition manager: Going beyond the process of sourcing, interviewing and on-boarding employees, this role has now become a more strategic one. Talent acquisition managers now ensure access to a pool of highly qualified candidates for immediate or future recruitment needs.

3. HR strategic business partners: Aligning business goals with employees and management in various business departments, this post serves as a consultant to management on HR related matters.

4. HRIS leader: HRIS leaders are dedicated to improving and maintaining information systems for the HR function. Responsible for ensuring data used in IT, finance and other reporting are accurate and timely, they also act as a link between vendors, management, and users on HRIS issues.

5. Talent management and organisation development: Aiming to deliver the right skills and people for business success, this role is all about partnering closely with functional heads and key stakeholders to understand their development needs and suggest appropriate talent management solutions.
