The ins and outs of Heineken's APAC graduate programme

The Heineken Asia Pacific Graduate Program (APGP) has started accepting applications from 7 October to 7 November 2019 for its 2020 intake, as announced by Heineken Malaysia.

The programme spans 24 months, and gives graduates the opportunity to rotate between four assignments every six months.

The first assignment will take place in their Home Operating Company (OpCo) – Heineken Malaysia in this case, followed by two assignments, each taking place in one of the more than 20 company OpCos across Asia Pacific. Graduates will return to their Malaysia base for the last APGP assignment to experience a role in a different function.

Aimed at enabling accelerated career progression, APGP counts on guidance from Heineken’s senior business leaders across APAC. It comprises with both formal and on-the-job leadership training, including management level mentorship.

Roland Bala, HEINEKEN Malaysia’s Managing Director, commented: "Our graduates from previous batches of the APGP have been playing a crucial role in their respective function during and after the programme. We look forward to welcoming a new batch of graduates for the APGP 2020 intake.
