Oracle has recently announced that it plans to expand its Asia Pacific sales teams significantly.

The company is looking to hire 1,000 new sales professionals across the region.

In a bid to drive growth and support demand for its solutions, Oracle’s recruitment efforts will be primarily focused on growth in the ASEAN countries as well as Australia, Korea, India and Greater China.

The company aims to capitalise on the strong economic growth of the region.

“Strong economic growth and the infinite possibilities that cloud technologies offer has created an unprecedented opportunity in Asia Pacific,” Loic Le Guisquet, president, EMEA & APAC at Oracle, said.

“We are recruiting talent from across the region to create a world-class sales team that will help Oracle’s customers embrace the cloud. The opportunity that cloud technologies create is profound and there’s never been a better time to work for Oracle,” he added.
