Global professional services company Towers Watson has appointed Jeffrey Tang as managing director of its Hong Kong office.
In this role, Tang has overall responsibility for Towers Watson’s business in Hong Kong and will build on its market-leading position to deliver people, financial and risk solutions to clients.
He also joins the company’s Asia Pacific Leadership Team, to which he brings extensive global and regional experience, having provided consultancy to US, Europe, Middle East and Asia Pacific clients.
Tang has worked at Towers Watson for 10 years, seven of which have been in Hong Kong. Prior to this appointment, Tang led the talent and rewards practice in Hong Kong. His strong track record in managing complex talent management projects include major HR transformations, M&A engagements, and developing human capital strategy.
Tang’s core expertise includes turning around underperforming workforces for diverse clients such as sovereign wealth funds, government linked companies, family owned conglomerates, and multinationals in the region.
