Sulastri Zainuddin leads HR for SIF
Effective February 2016, Zainuddin has taken on the role of senior manager HR at non-profit Singapore International Federation. She moved from McGregor Boyall, where she was Asia operations manager, and has also been HR director at IQPC Worldwide.
APAC recruiting role for Candy Toh
Toh has recently joined Facebook as recruiter for the APAC region, based in Singapore. Having been in HR and recruitment since 2010, she has previously worked with a local SME as HR assistant, and most recently with a local employment agency as recruitment consultant.
Valerie Hayden joins Coats as HR director, industrial
Coats has appointed the ex regional head of HR at Dentsu Aegis Network, Valerie Hayden to lead HR for its industrial business in Asia, based in Singapore. She reports to Ashok Mathur, COO of Asia industrial, and will also be a member of Coats’ Asia leadership team. Read more
Swati Chawla moves into HR analytics role for Syngenta
Chawla joined the agriculture company in November 2014, to manage people and OD, for Australasia and North East Asia, based in Singapore. She is now the global head of HR analytics, strategy and planning for Syngenta, based in Switzerland.
Arun Prakash now manages L&D for Coca-Cola’s bottling partner
Prakash has been appointed by Hindustan Coca Cola Beverages, the largest bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company in India, the national manager of learning and development, based in Gurgaon. He comes from multiplex chain PVR, where he was head of training and development.

Elliot Scott HR promotes Tamara Sigerhall
At Elliott Scott HR, Sigerhall has been promoted from senior consultant to the role of managing consultant, based in Singapore. She brings over a decade of experience to the role.
She says her top action item for 2016 is “to pay it forward”. She told Human Resources: “I am fortunate enough, to work for an outstanding people manager, Vincent Romano. I am now coaching another team member and I hope to be able to set her up for a successful career in recruitment as well.
Mehul Rajparia is Lumesse’s regional director
Regional director of Lumesse in APAC, Mehul Rajparia, has moved up the role of regional VP, continuing to be based in Mumbai. As P&L head, he is responsible for all aspects of the business.
His priority this year is to increase Lumesse’s footprint across APAC, by solidifying presence in existing markets, as well as expansion in other markets via partners, he told Human Resources.
Tom Chan joins Achieve Group
Previously senior account executive at Oomph, Chan is now consulting manager at Achieve Group, which specialises in recruitment services. He has previously worked in a range of roles, including event planning, marketing and communications, and operations.
Joe Tam joins Faro Recruitment Group
After working with RX Recruitment as international recruitment consultant for a little over a year, Tam has now moved to Faro Recruitment Group as senior recruitment consultant, based in Singapore. Faro has six specialist divisions, including technology, Japan desk, and executives.
Jade Yam Tze Yen joins Career International
Yam has joined recruitment firm Career International as talent sourcing specialist for its Southeast Asia candidate delivery centre, based in Malaysia. She was previously research associate at Bó Lè Associates, and has also worked with Randstad Malaysia and Wellness Concept.
