HR practitioner appointments

Cheryl Toh is global mobility manager at Expedia, Inc.
Toh joined the travel company in February 2017, moving from her previous role as global mobility advisor – Asia Pacific, Middle East, Turkey and North Africa at Mars. Prior to that, Toh was a tax associate at PwC. This new role sees Toh relocating back to Singapore from Dubai.

HR solutions provider appointments

Wilson Wu leaves Faro Recruitment Hong Kong & China to join Achieve Group
Wu joined the Singaporean recruitment agency in January 2017 in the role of consulting manager, talent acquisition at JCG/ Achieve (HK), moving from Faro Recruitment Hong Kong & China where he was a consultant. Prior to that he was a contract financial analyst at The Hong Kong Jockey Club. He will be based in Hong Kong.

Savills Hong Kong promotes Henkey Lai Y.H. 
Lai was promoted from the role of associate to the role of assistant manager in January 2017. Prior to joining the global real estate services provider in September 2015, Lai was a part-time senior associate at Great Wealth Property. He will be based in Hong Kong.

May Knight Joins Korn Ferry as country managing director
Korn Ferry, on Wednesday (22 February), announced that May Knight has joined the firm as country managing director, Korn Ferry Hay Group. In her new role, Knight will drive the growth of the global people and organisational advisory firm’s Hong Kong business alongside other lines of business and in alignment with regional strategy. She will be based in Korn Ferry’s Hong Kong office.

New appointments at Tata Consultancy Services

Tata Consultancy Services appoints V Ramakrishnan as chief financial officer
Tata Consultancy Services announced on Tuesday (21 February) that V Ramakrishnan has been appointed as the chief financial officer. Ramakrishnan takes over from Rajesh Gopinathan, who has been appointed as the chief executive officer and managing director of the IT services, business solutions and outsourcing firm.

Tata Consultancy Services appoints CEO, Rajesh Gopinathan to the board
Tata Consultancy Services, on Tuesday (21 February), announced that Rajesh Gopinathan, who will take over as the chief executive officer from N Chandrasekaran, has been appointed as the managing director on the IT services, business solutions and outsourcing firm’s board. Gopinathan started his professional career with Tata Consultancy Services in 2001. He was appointed as chief financial officer of the company in February 2013 and has played a key role in helping TCS become a $ 16.5 billion global company with over 371,000 employees.

Tata Consultancy Services appoints COO, N Ganapathy Subramaniam to the board
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) also announced COO, N Ganapathy Subramaniam’s appointment as the executive director on the board of TCS. Subramaniam is currently the president of TCS financial solutions, a strategic business unit of TCS. He has been part of TCS and the Indian IT Industry for the past 34 years and has had opportunities to perform a variety of roles in delivering solutions to customers globally, especially in the banking and financial services sector.
