HR practitioner appointments

Juseleen Jalil is promoted to HR director, Singapore enterprise & regional business units at Johnson & JohnsonJuseleen Jalil was promoted from HR senior manager, Asia Pacific Vision Care & Consumer R&D to HR director, Singapore & regional business units at Johnson & Johnson. In her new role, she will be leading the enterprise HR team, taking into consideration the needs of the local operating company and the regional hub in Singapore. Jalil joined the company in 2009 as a human resource manager and has worked her way up the ranks. She is currently based in Singapore.

Axiata appoints Bilal Waris as group VP HRBilal Waris took up his new role as group VP at Axiata in October. Prior to joining the company, he was head of talent acquisition and talent management at Digi Telecommunications. He is based in Malaysia.

A. Menarini welcomes Rachel Ho as associate HR managerRachel Ho joined A. Menarini in Singapore as associate HR manger in July. She is a dedicated and passionate HR practitioner with over five years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, sales & marketing environments. Prior to joining A. Menarini, Ho held roles as HR specialist at Roche and 3M.

Singapore Economic Development Board promotes Ying Yuan NgYing Yuan Ng has been promoted to executive director, human resources and organisation development at Singapore Economic Development Board.  She takes up her new role as of October.  Ng joined the organisation 15 years ago in the biomedical sciences division and accumulated significant business experience before moving on to HR in 2008.  Since then, she has led various HR functions within the organisation. Ng will continue to be based in Singapore.

Frances Chee is now director, international benefits at The Coca-Cola CompanyFrances Chee takes up her new role with The Coca-Cola Company as director, international benefits as of October. She joined the company in 2014 working as compensation & benefits director - bottling investment group. Chee has over 15 years of experience working in HR focusing on total rewards, global mobility and HR information systems. Her previous employers include Intercontinental Hotels Group, Citi, and Hewlett-Packard. She will continue to be based in Singapore.

Young & Rubicam / Wunderman promotes Cindy TanCindy Tan was promoted to regional talent acquisition manager at Young & Rubicam / Wunderman in August. She joined the company in 2014 as regional talent associate. During that time, she was the key facilitator in building a strong database of talents in APAC, oversaw the internal HR candidate tracking system, and worked with the regional HR team on the annual review process for the region. She is based in Singapore.

Daphne Fonseka joins TIME dotCom as head, talent sourcingDaphne Fonseka joined the TIME dotCom team in August as head of talent sourcing. She is an experienced full life cycle senior recruiter with a proven background in the staffing industry. Her recruitment strengths lie in information technology, telecommunication and engineering & software development. Prior to joining TIME dotCom Berhad Fonseka held recruitment roles at DiGi Telecommunications and Openet, among other companies. She is based in Malaysia.

Netflix welcomes Jieqing Hong to the talent acquisition teamJieqing Hong has joined Netflix as talent acquisition - APAC. She has a background in the banking industry and made the switch to recruitment in 2012 when she joined Ambition Singapore as a consultant specialising in sales & marketing, banking & financial services, and fast moving consumer goods. She will continue to be based in Singapore.

HR solutions provider appointments

Robert Walters promotes Majella Slevin to manager, business support (permanent) divisionMajella Slevin has taken up her new role at Robert Walters starting in October. She is responsible for the recruitment of secretarial and office support candidates. Slevin is an experienced secretarial and HR recruiter within the Financial Services, Commodities and Legal Industries in Singapore. After a successful career in training in France, she moved to Australia where she first started working as a recruiter. In 2008 she moved to Singapore and joined Robert Walters in the newly set-up secretarial and office support division.

Reema Bhullar joins Morgan McKinley SingaporeReema Bhullar was appointed as consultant to Morgan McKinley Singapore in September 2016. As part of the sales and marketing team, she overlooks the agencies portfolio, handling recruitment for all levels for the following agencies: digital, public relations, advertising and media. She joins the team after having worked in a boutique specialist agency in Malaysia for 3,5 years.

EY welcomes Elma Diala-Pangilinan to its talent teamElma Diala-Pangilinan joined EY in September as ASEAN talent lead, financial services, talent team. She is a commercially driven HR practitioner with over 15 years of professional experience in the areas of learning management, leadership & talent development, performance management, organisation development and HR business partnering. In her new role she serves as the FSO talent point of contact, and as APAC FSO TAS talent lead. She is based in Singapore.

Faststream Recruitment Asia-Pacific promotes Michal Golab to lead consultant - technical shippingMichal Golab took up his new role within Faststream Recruitment Asia-Pacific in October. He joined the company in 2015 as senior consultant, technical shipping. Golab is a specialist head hunter focusing on recruiting shipping & offshore oil & gas professionals of all levels. He started his recruitment career eight years ago in the United Kingdom and relocated to Singapore in 2014. Previous employers include Airswift and Search Consultancy. He is based in Singapore.

Kugan Puvanendran is now regional associate consultant at SolomanPuvanendran started his role at Soloman in September and is based in Malaysia. He specialises in mid- to senior level negotiation and recruitment. Some of his past employers include Spring Professional, Empowerment Consulting, and Clement May.

Susan Goh joins Mecury Capital as associate director, executive searchSusan Goh took up her role as associate director, executive search in September. Prior to joining Mecury Capital, she was the group HR manager at Chasen Holdings. Goh began her career in human resources working for an aerospace company, after which she moved on to the electro-mechanical industry. She now has over twenty years of HR experience. Goh is based in Singapore.

Chris Ingham is now practice manager - digital at XpandChris Ingham was promoted from principal consultant to practice manager - digital at Xpand in September. In his new role, he will be leading a highly capable team and working with APAC's top talent within the digital space. Prior to joining Xpand in 2015, Ingham worked as a consultant at Initiative Recruitment Hong Kong for four years. He will continue to be based in Hong Kong.

Nick Ryland establishes Formative Search recruitment agencyLegal recruitment specialist Nick Ryland has established boutique recruitment agency Formative Search in Singapore. The agency focuses on placing lawyers in-house and into private practice at all levels. Prior to establishing Formative Search, Ryland spent seven years working in legal recruitment teams for a UK listed recruitment agency and a regional agency, with roles based in London and Singapore.

Shinyin Peh has joined Dale Carnegie Malaysia as performance consultantShinyin Peh joined Dale Carnegie Malaysia in August as a performance consultant. Most recently, she worked as a recruitment consultant for Vxcel Consulting Sdn Bhd, where she was responsible for the full length of the recruitment process including sourcing, head-hunting, screening, interview arrangements and follow up. She is based in Malaysia.

Mary Ann Mortel-Chua joins RGF Executive Search as team assistantMary Ann Mortel-Chua took up her role as team assistant in October. She will be providing administrative support to recruitment consultants. Prior to joining RGF Executive Search, she gained seven years of work experience in customer service at several BPO/call centre companies in the Philippines. She is based in Singapore.

TBC HR Consulting welcomes David Aw to the recruitment teamDavid Aw has joined TBC HR Consulting as a senior recruitment consultant. In his new role, his recruitment priority for the year will lie with property & real estate, and facilities management & construction companies. Most recently, Aw worked as a senior talent specialist at RecruitPlus where he specialised in property & real estate. He is based in Singapore.

First Alliances welcomes Duong Trang Anh to the recruitment teamDuong Trang Anh has joined First Alliances as a recruitment consultant starting in October. Trang Anh holds a degree in communications and started off her career in that field. In 2014 she made the move to the recruitment industry and joined Harvey Nash Vietnam as a recruitment consultant. In her new role at First Alliances, she focuses on the banking, finance, and insurance sectors. She is based in Vietnam.

Myko Lluch returns to Alexander Mann Solutions as team lead - sourcingMyko Lluch joined Alexander Mann Solutions in September as team lead - sourcing. He is a skilled resourcing lead in the power systems, consulting, investment banking, and healthcare domains, and highly experienced in database management of recruitment systems, particularly in the Avature CRM. Lluch worked at Alexander Mann Solutions once before as lead sourcing specialist and has now returned to the company. He will continue to be based in the Philippines.
