HR Practitioner Appointments

Zhengtong Auto welcomes Maggie Shen as CHRO Maggie Shen joined Zhengtong Auto as chief human resources officer in July. She has over twenty years of human capital management and leadership experiences and was previously with Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts as chief human resources officer. She has also led the HR function of major automobile companies such as BMW Group and General Motors.

Mark Brookes becomes GM at Hutchison Ports Mark Brookes joined Hutchison Ports as general manager- talent acquisition & engagement (Global) in September. Brookes has nearly 15 years of global exposure and experience in strategic human capital solutions, stakeholder engagement, talent acquisition, proactive sourcing strategies and employment law. He previously worked as the director- talent acquisition (APAC) for Constituency Management Group. 

Herman Mak takes up new role with AsiaInspection Herman Mak was promoted to human resources leader at AsiaInspection in August. He joined the company in 2017 as human resources supervisor where he acquired his understandings in the quality control and supply chain industry. He started his career as HR & admin executive at Hellmann Worldwide Logistics in early 2014.

InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong promotes Benson Yeung Having been with InterContinental Grand Stanford Hong Kong for a year and a half, Benson Yeung was promoted to training manager in September. With his recently acquired postgraduate diploma in adult training and vocational education and his previous experience with Eaton Hotels and Cathay Pacific Airways, he brings his expertise in analysing training needs, instructional designing, implementing and reviewing training programs to his new position.

Bluebell acquires new Human Resources Manager Matilda Wong was appointed human resources manager at Bluebell in August. Wong has extensive experience in the retail industry and multi-national environment. Prior to Bluebell, she was a talent acquisition manager and business partner at Woolworths and senior human resources officer at Burberry and Fairton International Group.

Eric Lee dives into expanded role at Esquel Enterprise Having been with Esquel Enterprise for four years, Eric Lee has moved up the ranks from human resources manager to group human resources senior manager at Esquel Enterprises in July. He comes with more than a decade of human resources experience, and has previously worked for Shanghai Commercial Bank and Hopewell Holdings.

Manie Wong joins Glorieux International (H.K.) Manie Wong was appointed assistant HR & Admin manager at Glorieux International (H.K.)  in August. Graduated with a BBA in human resources management, she worked with UDL Group and Annabelle Holdings Company for two years.

New hire at 6ixty8ight Rachel Wong joined 6ixty8ight as assistant human resources manager in September. In the last decade, she has held recruitment roles with global fashion company Hop Lun, AsiaWorld-Expo Management and Shun Tak Holdings.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Tim Tsang commences expanded role with Randstad Being an experienced professional in the technology sector, Tsang has been appointed as associate director at Randstad Hong Kong, moving up from his previous role as senior manager.

He has been with Randstad in Hong Kong since July 2014, when he joined as technology recruiter. Starting from August this year, he is responsible for the entire technologies and contracting division.

Knight Frank Greater China promotes Vivien Leung Vivien Leung was promoted by Knight Frank Greater China to the role of head of human resources, from her previous role of senior human resources manager. Prior to joining Knight Frank Greater China, she was working with AIA and Hang Lung Properties.

Andy Lui takes up promoted role at Korn Ferry Specialising in organisational strategy, restructuring, workforce planning, assessment and succession, Andy Lui has been promoted to associate principal at Korn Ferry in September. He joined the company in January 2017.

In his new role, he will continue to work on organisational strategy, talent assessment and succession in the industrial and consumer sector.

Manpower services (Hong Kong) Limited welcomes Chan Ka Wai Chan Ka Wai joined Manpower services (Hong Kong) as talent acquisition specialist in August. She has previously worked as human resources officer at Ritone Jewelry International for four years where she supported full spectrum of HR duties such as recruitment, compensation & benefits and employee relations.
