HR Practitioner Appointments

Nikhilesh Mathur joins IHS MarkitAfter more than five years with Moody's Corporation, Mathur was appointed global head of talent acquisition at IHS Markit with effect in January.  His previous position was APAC region HR oversight at Moody's.

Elekta promotes HR directorBono Lee was promoted from human resources business partner to director of human resources, APAC in December 2017.  He brings with him more than 20 years of experience in human resources.  Before joining Elekta in 2016, he was the head of HR at CTBAT.

Goldman Sachs strengthens recruitment teamChih Cheung was appointed senior recruiter (APAC engineering) at Goldman Sachs in January.  He started his career in recruitment in 2012.  His previous position was recruiter at Nomura.

Promotion at Shun Tak - China Travel Ship ManagementBrian Chong was promoted in January to deputy human resources manager.  He had been with the company since 2011, starting out as a senior human resources officer.  He was promoted from assistant human resources manager.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group strengthens hiring teamCharlotte Hang joined The Excelsior Hong Kong - Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group as talent acquisition specialist in January.  She brings with her more than four years of experience in human resources.  She came over from PwC Hong Kong and Mainland China where she was an assistant officer.

Appointment at VF CorporationJoanna Chow joined VF Corporation as talent acquisition consultant in January.  She started serving in the HR sector in 2015, her previous appointment was HR at Synpulse Hong Kong.

Promotion at Hop LunRachel Wong was promoted from human resources-recruitment to assistant HR manager, recruitment in January.  She brings with her more than 10 years of experience in human resources.  She joined Hop Lun in 2014.


HR Solutions Provider Appointments

Leonard Lai has new role at AIAAfter serving for more than three years as AIA's director of group people development & culture, group human resources, Lai was appointed group head, HR transformation, analytics & governance at AIA Group, with effect in January.  Lai had been with AIA since 2012. Prior to joining AIA, he was vice-president and head of organisation development at NTUC Income.

Gough Recruitment welcomes new regional directorBrent McDougall was appointed regional director at Gough Recruitment in January.  His previous appointment was director- hospitality, leisure and development at Cornerstone Global Partners.

Adarsh Arya Manu joins Experis/Manpower GroupAdarsh Arya Manu was appointed managing consultant at Experis/Manpower Group in January.  His previous appointment was consulting director at Recolo.  He started his career in India before relocating to Hong Kong in 2015.

Promotion at Robert WaltersKelvin Chong was promoted to senior manager transaction services in January.  He joined Robert Walters in 2011 as a consultant.  Prior to Robert Walters, he was a consultant at Michael Page International.

Endeavour Search promotes managerLiu Ho Yeung moved up to manager- management consulting and digital technology in January.  In the new role, he looks forward to playing an active role in managing the  overall long-term company and team strategy.  He joined Endeavour Search in 2012 as a researcher and was promoted from senior consultant.
