HR professionals beware. There is a fake Ministry of Manpower website that is phishing for visitors’ personal information and data, Singapore’s Ministry of Manpower (MOM) warns.
In an announcement, MOM reminded members of the public to exercise caution so that they do not unwittingly fall prey to fake websites such as – http://govsg.mom.
“Fake websites surface from time to time and we would like to remind members of the public to remain vigilant, especially for transactional purposes,” the note stated.
“Members of the public are advised to use only the official MOM website at www.mom.gov.sg for all informational and transactional needs concerning MOM matters.”
It assures that despite these fake websites, access to the official MOM website remains unaffected and no data has been compromised.
“We will work to bring down these websites and will continue to monitor for such fake websites.”
