Last month at the HR Distinction Awards 2018, Hong Kong, in the afterglow of MGM China’s numerous wins, Human Resources spoke exclusively to Francis Tan, vice-president of learning and talent management, and Michelle Chiu, vice-president of human resources at MGM China, about the awards they won and the company’s vision.

MGM China strives to create memorable moments and experiences for its employees and the community. The hotel and casino giant believes workplace wellbeing is as important as professional development, and hence, a wholesome lifestyle is widely promoted.

The HR Grand Winner scored five gold awards for Excellence in Compensation & Benefits; Excellence in HR Digitalisation; Excellence in Workplace Culture; Excellence in Workplace Wellbeing and Excellence in Learning & Development; three silver awards for Excellence in CSR Strategy; Excellence in Employee Development; and Excellence in Organisation Development; and two bronze awards for Excellence in Employee Work-Life Balance; and Excellence in Innovative Use of HR Tech.
