Research has revealed that delivering a successful employer branding with minimal costs and maximum business impact seems to be top priority in most HR department’s agenda.
Moreover with the rise of company review sites such as Glassdoor, it is essential that companies build and maintain robust employer branding strategies, while offering an excellent talent experience to attract and retain talent.
As such, this 5 November at the Pavilion KL, Sylvia Koh, Chief People Officer of CrimsonLogic, will share with us how HR can mitigate human capital risks involved with job redesign as well as consolidating data to close the loop on employer branding activities.
This Singapore-based case study will be part of Talent Experience Forum, an interactive and immersive one-day forum where you can expect 20-20 case studies, CEO and HR panel discussion, the Great Debate and more!
In the meantime Koh, shares some juicy information about her session and HR gossip that will leave you wanting more, in this conversation with Priya Veeriah.

Be that business partner to the business on the talent management agenda. It’s all about the people agenda.
This is our company’s HR vision and goal which maps closely to our company’s vision.
Q What are the key characteristics that set HR professionals apart from other departments?
Guardians of integrity, company’s core values and talent agenda.
Q What was the most interesting gossip/rumour that you have heard about HR?
Success in HR is about how well you steer the politics in your company!
Q What is the most difficult HR theory which was challenging for you to grasp?
Most HR theories are fundamentals with which we can design our own perspectives and work them around. It depends on how we view and apply them in the context. As such, I don’t see great challenges in theories thus far as it’s around adopting flexibility to apply them in context.
Q What are the three takeaways you would like attendees of #TalentExperienceForum expect to gain from your session?
To be able to network and share experience; learning from other speakers and participants; diverse background from which we operate and from different countries in diverse legislations.
