Asian airlines dominate ranking of world’s cleanest airlines

Gathering 50 top regional chief HR and senior business leaders at a three-day business retreat forum, the exclusive HR Innovation Leaders' Summit will happen from September 9-11. Get involved.

The top spots of Skytrax‘s recent ranking on the cabin hygiene of global airlines were occupied by Asian airlines — with Japan’s ANA All Nippon Airways coming in at number one. Qantas and Virgin Australia were among the two Australian airlines that made the list. No American or British airline was visible. Among the top 10, Swiss International Airlines, Qatar Airways and Lufthansa were the first two non-Asian carriers.

During the research, passengers rated the standards and quality of cleanliness of aircraft cabins based on their experiences. Areas such as seat areas, tray tables, carpets, cabin panels and toilets were taken into account.
