53% of employees more likely to remain loyal to a pet-friendly workplace

Allowing your employees’ furry friends to roam around the workplace might have more benefits than you think.

According to Banfield’s “Pet-Friendly Workplace PAWrometer”, having a pet friendly workplace not only gives employees a greater sense of work-life balance (85% employees, 91% of HR decision makers), but it also reduces stress levels (86% employees, 92% of HR decision makers).

Moreover, such policies can also increase the productivity of your employees (67% employees, 81% of HR decision makers).

Interestingly, turning the workplace into a pet-friendly one can also help retain employees.

Slightly more than half of employees currently working in non-pet-friendly workplaces revealed that they would be more likely to stay with the organisation if allowed to bring their pets to work (53%).

Though it might seem tough to implement pet-friendly policies, in reality, only 25% of HR decision makers said that it was difficult to implement pet-friendly policies in their organisation.
