Becoming an archivist, a film editor or a social media manager are some of the best career choices for introverts.

This is according to a list compiled by CareerCast, which outlines jobs that play to introverts’ strengths, but avoid an overwhelming amount of interactions every day.

While having an employee who is an introvert can be extremely positive thing, it doesn’t hurt to take into considering where they might fit best in your organisation.

According to the survey, shy people are often attracted to positions which might limit their exposure to new people, and a quiet and stable career outweighs the desire for career advancement.

So, for introverts out there, if you’re looking for a career change, this might be where to start searching (all salaries in USD):

1. Animal care and service workers
