許多求職網站或導師建議應徵者正式答應新工前花點時間考慮。

然而,考慮太久卻可能自斷後路。225名受訪香港老闆當中,過半數曾經因為應徵者考慮太久而收回工作機會。

到底人事經理可以接受的考慮時間是多長?以下就是結果:

一至兩星期(40%)
一日至一星期(28%)
兩至三星期(18%)
三至六星期(12%)

Robert Half Hong Kong副總監Elaine Lam表示:「在應徵者短缺的市場,高需求的人才可以對理想工作更加揀擇。不過,考慮時間太長或會對應徵者和人事經理雙方造成困擾。在填補空缺方面,時間通常就是關鍵,若然心儀的申請人考慮太久,人事經理多數會選擇另一位應徵者。」

以下是香港老闆票選應徵者考慮太久的常見原因:

有多份工作聘請(29%)
人工不吸引(26%)
應徵者現任僱主加人工(20%)
對工作欠缺熱誠(16%)
不滿意工作職責(9%)
