紐約州立大學賓漢姆頓分校(Binghamton Unversity)最近進行的一項研究顯示,打造包容性工作環境可提高員工滿意度、信任度和歸屬感。

研究作者社區及公共事務學院社會工作系副教授Kim Brimhall對非牟利機構進行研究,發現不論員工的教育背景或職務,當領導層鼓勵眾人付出和努力,員工可更能感受到包容性。

此舉有助提高創新、員工工作滿意度和服務質素。

Brimhall表示:「當非牟利機構員工相信他們的價值在於獨一無二的個人特色,以及被視為機構的重要成員,員工參與度、信任度、滿意度、投入度和歸屬感便會增加。」

當Brimhall發現流失率高、工作表現差和領導層虧損如何影響非牟利業界,於是萌生起進行研究的念頭。之後,她與非牟利醫院合作,就以上提及的領導層參與、包容性、創新、工作滿意度和理想關顧質素等主題向員工進行訪問。
